Daily balance means the ending ledger balance in the account each day. You must maintain the minimum daily balance every day of the monthly/quarterly cycle.

We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the collected balance in the account each day. Please see a customer service representative for current rates. We reserve the right to change the rate on any account at any time at our discretion.

Interest begins to accrue on the business day you make a deposit regardless of whether it is cash or non-cash (checks). You will not receive interest for the days your balance falls below the minimum balance. This may affect the Annual Percentage Yield on your account. In the event you close your account before the interest is credited, you will not receive your accrued interest. You must maintain the minimum balance indicated during the statement cycle to avoid a service charge. If your balance falls below the minimum balance one day during the cycle month, you will be charged the service charge indicated. We reserve the right to require not less than seven days’ notice in writing before each withdrawal from an interest-bearing account other than a time deposit, or from any other savings account as defined by Regulation D.

Accounts closed within 60 days of opening may be charged an early closing fee of $5.
